The JGSS project organizes a JGSS Researcher Encouraging Program for graduate students. Through participation in the series of processes from JGSS(or EASS) survey design to implementation, data analysis, and writing research papers, this program offers opportunities for young researchers to experience a nationwide survey (or cross-national survey). Specifically, we have them participate in selection of JGSS survey items, improving questions and answer choices, sampling, and other tasks, and we consult with them on analyzing JGSS data and writing research papers based on their own fields of study. Especially with regard to consultation on analysis and writing research papers, we periodically hold analysis conferences.
Participation in this program usually originates with submitting call for questions or research papers.
