Administration
JGSS-2021 used self-administered questionnaire and was conducted from January through March 2021. The fieldwork was entrusted to the Central Research Services Inc. (Chuo-Chosa-sha).

The Japanese General Social Surveys (JGSS) are designed and carried out by the JGSS Research Center at Osaka University of Commerce (Joint Usage / Research Center for Japanese General Social Surveys accredited by Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology). JGSS-2021 is financially assisted by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Promotion of Distinctive Joint Research Center Program, Grant Number JPMXP0620335833, JSPS KAKENHI Grant Number JP20H00089 (PI: Noriko Iwai), and JSPS Program for Constructing Data Infrastructure for the Humanities and Social Sciences Grant Number JPJS00218077184.
